The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grande Complication a Triptyque.
With the car enthusiasts frequently bombarded by photographs of beautiful women in their magazines, the appearance of Jaeger-LeCoultre (JLC) CEO, Jerome Lambert on the cover of "Engine" is kind of unusual and rare.

Not certain if this is a first for a watch brand CEO, but in a more relaxed coffee break mood, the more interesting news for Singapore is the physical arrival of the ‘Reverso Grande Complication a triptyque’ prototype last week, to be shown to selected retailers, TV/print/other mass media and perhaps, a few more over lunch on 10th July 2006 when Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO Jereome Lambert arrives Singapore on the wee hours of Monday (10th July 2006) morning.

The new Ellipse Isometer Escapement, more details in our coming coverage.
The Reverso Grande Complication a Triptyque is the results of tireless effort by many constructeurs and watchmakers under the strong guidance of the Jaeger-LeCoultre management and is truly the result of JLC’s collective effort and aspiration. We made a tour of the Manufacture last month to see the work involved in making of this Grande Complication and we spoke to the management, the product department, the prototype department, the Constructeurs etc to learn as much as possible about this new breakthrough.

What we have discovered is that there are many technical secrets of the complication yet to be revealed and discovered by the media and the collectors alike.

The Reverso Grande Complication a Triptyque will be covered briefly in our July 2006 Double issue magazine (see http://www.revolution-press.com/news/?p=87 ), due to hit the Singapore street by the second week of July and distributed in Malaysia by the third week of July 2006. And we intend to write on the subject in greater depth at a later date.

This was where the Ellipse Isometer Escapement was first prototyped and tested, in a basic manual watch.
For fortunate Singaporeans who have been viewing, feeling and touching the prototype or who are about to do so, please treat the watch with tender loving care, even if it is shock proof.

The Revolution July 2006 Double issue (not to be sold separately) the Singapore edition will be distributed on the second week of July and the Malaysian edition will hit the street on the third week of July.
